Okay so I am addicted to grocery shopping with the grocery guru. I have been only two times and I have saved sooo much money, time, and my food storage shelves are filling up so fast!!! I'll have to take some pictures for ya.
So last week I went to Albertson's and bought 300 dollars worth of groceries and I only spent 120 dollars!!! This week I went to Albertson's and I bought 410 dollars worth of groceries for 220 dollars. I bought quite a bit of meat so it wasn't as good as last week but look how much money I saved and I really don't need to go to the grocery store maybe for little things for certain dinners. I have filled up my freezer in the house and half of my stand up freezer in the shed. My shelves Brandon made me when we moved in the house are full. I just told him he needed to make me some more shelves. My grand total on my coupons was 175 dollars worth of coupons. I am soo excited. And trust me if I can do it so can you. You should give it a try. Go to grocery guru and then click on grocery savings. It brings up a total list of what is on sale and what is needed for the food list for the next week. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all typed out so you don't have to think of what to fix. You don't have to follow that list but sometimes it can be nice.
Well hope to hear if some of you try it. I love it! I can't wait to get the Sunday ads to see what coupons I get and then Tuesdays mail has the grocery store sale ads. I think I'm just a little addicted.

You go girl! I have a good friend that is awesome at couponing and I went with her once and was amazed. The only bad thing is that we don't have an Albertson's here, so I have to drive at least an hour to be able to do it. But it is totally worth it for the amount you save. You should do a post everytime you save a lot so we can see what you are getting!
ReplyDeleteI need to check that out! That's awesome at how much you saved!
ReplyDeleteI must be stupid. I tried to do this just a couple weeks ago. I ended up spending so much time trying to figure out how to combine the coupons and how to actually find the right ones before they expire! I gave up! Good going Kym. You're gonna have to teach me. ;)
ReplyDeleteSounds like i wanna join in on that! Buying groceries for just me and the hubby is expensive...I cant imagine having to buy groceries for little kiddos too!
